At the heart of every stage-ready Katana is the custom-designed analog Class A/B poweramp. Painstaking research into the complex interaction between the preamp, power amp, and speaker has resulted in a power section that lives, breathes, and ROARS like a classic tube amp.

The dynamic push-pull and electrical interplay between power amp and speaker results in authentic and inspiring feel under the fingers.

Katana MkII amps come with five essential amp tones (Clean,Crunch, Lead, Brown, & Acoustic), with five more distinct sounds available at a press of the Variation button. Unlock your full performance potential

The Katana 50 MkII combo is a lean, mean gigging machine.Connect a footswitch like the BOSS FS-6 to quickly switch between four different presets on stage (Ch1/Ch2 and Bank A/Bank B). Alternatively, connectan expression pedal and wow the audience with those whammy and wah tricks!
If you need even more live control, then the Katana 100 MkII amps have got you covered.

Connect the optional GA-FC footswitch to give you immediate access to eight presets + panel setting, as well as individual control over each of your five effects. You can also connect up to two additional footswitches or expression pedals to unlock even more performance possibilities.  

The GA-FC plugs into your Katana 100 MkII with a standard TRS cable, and that’s your gig setup done and dusted!
